Message from Rotary International President’s Personal Representative

       Past District Governor Peter Wan

       Dear Fellow Rotarians and Friends,

Greetings to all in District 3450!

District conference is a much anticipated event of each Rotary year. It offers the
opportunity for Rotarians and friends of Rotary to come together for fellowship,
inspiration and celebration of the district’s many service projects and programs.

It is indeed an honour for me to represent RI President Holger Knaack and his wife
Susanne to join this conference - the conference of my own District. President Holger
and Susanne send their personal greetings and extend to you their warmest welcome
       to this conference.

While the pandemic has been haunting us for some time, it has not rocked the
foundation of Rotary and the commitment of our Rotarians to Open Opportunities for
all in need. There are good reasons for us to celebrate the work accomplished by the
district collectively in this extraordinary time.

Putting a physically held district conference in place requires a lot of courage, contingency planning and patience. We
must commend Governor Eric, Organising Committee Chair AG Cassy and her team for their leadership and efforts
to deliver a comprehensive program for the conference participants.

The conference with the theme “Health, Support Environment and Peace” is so timely and relevant to demonstrate the
vision and value of Rotary. Let us all make the best use of our time at the conference by picking up some new service
ideas, connecting with like-mind people and further expanding our Rotary horizon.

I look forward to seeing you all at the conference.

       With warmest personal regards,

       Peter Wan

       Rotary International President’s Personal Representative

       Past District Governor
