4. Ger-for-life project launched to bring joy to the community.
Rotary Club of Ulaanbaatar Central is celebrating its 5th anniversary on May 20th,
2021. Even though there is Covid-19, they have accomplished many activities this

years ago which still continues till today performing Cervical cancer, Hepatitis B and C
virus medical tests for underprivileged women. In June, our club will partner with the
NCCD of Mongolia and JCI to organize the second dose vaccination of Covid-19 at
a nursing home in Batsumber. Our Ger for Life project, which focuses on eco-living,
changing mindsets on life, vocational training and specialization in ger areas has
received a global grant from Rotary International. In frame of this project, our club has
built a little ger town which is home to single-parent families with many children which
some have disabilities. Due to the state of emergency imposed by the Government of
Mongolia, vocational trainings have been moved to continue in June. During lockdown,
we have provided and supported the families with food, health training, and vaccine
information, etc. At the end of May, we are planning to host an event to hold a live
street concert where we will donate children’s day gifts to our younger ones to bring
them happiness and joy. From year to year, our club recruits potential new members
while making a sister club named Gerege Rotary this year. With the Rotaract Clubs of
Tsast, Ulaanbaatar Central, and University of Finance and Economics we are focused
on preparing the next generations of Rotary.
5. Aerial blood transportation project launched by RC of
Ulaanbaatar Narlag

healthcare facilities of the city of Ulaanbaatar where transfusion is amongst the highest
